This is a work-in-progress, a page where I’ll be adding all my favorite Procreate resources and information, particularly those of interest to children’s book illustrators and kidlit creators in general.
You can see my own work in Procreate on Instagram.
This web app lets you easily create Procreate palettes, either by choosing the colors individually or by uploading an image to have the app select colors from. You can then export the palette to load in Procreate or save it to get a link to share it with others.
Favorite Procreate Brushes
People always ask me about brushes. I love to make my own brushes, but these brush makers are phenomenal!

Lisa Bardot is the founder of Making Art Everyday, a wonderful year-long art challenge that you can jump in on at any time. (Check out my favorite pieces I’ve made for the 2020 challenge!) She also makes a wide range of fantastic brushes which are a joy to illustrate with. Lisa also has some really great Procreate tutorial videos on YouTube.
